New roofing projects require must be approved by the Gazebo Hill Architectural Control Committee (ACC). After choosing your roofing selection from the approved material listing below, and getting a written estimate from your contractor, complete the form below and return it to the ACC for approval.
“I am going to replace my roof. What steps do I need to take?”
1. Make a selection from the approved roofing options for Gazebo Hill homeowners:
a. Cedar shake, tile, or other natural material;
OR
b. Permitted alternative - see link for permitted alternative roofing materials.
2. Complete the roof replacement approval form.
3. Attach to the approval form written documentation between the homeowner and the contractor (for example, a written estimate, proposal, contract, letter agreement, etc.) specifically describing your approved roofing selection. This documentation must be signed by the homeowner and the contractor to ensure that the roofing product described is the roofing product that will be installed on the home. This is for the homeowner’s protection and is mandatory. For confidentiality reasons, if you choose to provide an estimate or contract, you may “white out” the pricing portion of the contract. However, the description of the materials must be thorough and legible.
4. Submit the form with all supporting documentation to Joe Fenzel, Architectural Control Committee Chair.
5. The ACC will respond in writing within ten (10) business days of receiving this form.
6. Once you have received approval from the ACC, you may commence with your roofing project.
A HOMEOWNER MUST OBTAIN SUCH WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE ACC PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF ANY ROOFING PROJECT WHETHER IT IS CEDAR, TILE, OR A PERMITTED ALTERNATIVE MATERIAL

Other Exterior projects
The Gazebo Hill neighborhood covenants, rules and regulations require that homeowners obtain prior written approval from the ACC prior to the alteration of any residential dwelling, prior to the erection or placement of any structure on the building site, and prior to the construction of other specific structures such as fences and in-ground pools. ACC approval must be obtained by the homeowner PRIOR to the homeowner’s application to the City for any building permit or hearing for municipal approval. Examples of such projects include, without limitation, construction of additions or other projects affecting the look of the exterior of the home, construction or placement on the property of other structures such as decks, gazebos and pergolas, and construction of fences and in-ground pools, to the extent permitted by the Gazebo Hill governing documents.
